About the event
The Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution (CICR) is hosting a special initiative as part of the Global Listening Movement.
Our beloved peace practitioner Maureen St-Clair is organizing and preparing to take on the streets of Ottawa to offer Free Listening to the public, fostering deeper connections and compassionate dialogue.
To prepare for this event, participants must attend one or both Practice Circles:
Virtual Session: Thursday, April 3 (5:00–6:00 PM) via Zoom
In-Person Session: Tuesday, April 8 (6:30–8:30 PM) via Zoom. Participants will prepare their cardboard for the main event on Friday.
These sessions will introduce the principles of the Global Free Listening Movement, provide an opportunity to practice courageous and compassionate listening, and allow participants to create their own listening signs.
