About the event

Ernie Tannis, venerable author and conflict resolution practitioner in the last forty years, will share insights on Conflict Resolution skills relevant for the next generations. The discussions will include:

  • Who else is affected by this conflict?
  • What values apply?
  • How can justice be achieved for all?
  • What law applies but does not determine the result?

There will be practical exercises on problem-solving “under the shadow of the law” but not “under the grips of the law.”

Ernie will be sharing invaluable conflict Resolution skills he has garnered over the last 40 years through participatory exercises. Ernie is a dear practitioner to CICR, he was the co-founder and served as our executive director for the first two years.
