Transforming Conflict - Cultivating Peace Certificate
Conflict Resolution, Mediation and Facilitation
with a Third-Party Neutral (TPN) Approach.
CICR's core 160-hour program equips you with the –hard to master– soft skills to prevent, manage and resolve differences with confidence and competence. It strengthens your capacity as a leader and practitioner to choose appropriate responses when dealing with escalated emotions, difficult behaviours, uncomfortable conversations or tense situations in the context of ongoing challenges, changes, and growth.
The advantage of the CICR courses is that they go beyond just resolving the conflict. They are designed to restore healthier relationships between conflicting parties, with the added value of more lasting peace and harmony between them.
The Transforming Conflict - Cultivating Peace Certificate is divided into four weeks of instruction, which can be attended in person or online:
With this suite of courses, you will develop your capacity in conciliation, mediation, facilitation of groups in conflict, and designing conflict interventions. All learned effortlessly via CICR's experiential approach with presentations, role-plays, and conflict scenarios.
Participants receive a 40-hour certificate for each workshop and a 160-hour certificate for completing all four. Our certificate is well recognized in the Alternative Dispute Resolution and the Informal Conflict Management sectors in Canada and abroad, and the hours accredited for Continuous Professional Education.
