Description du service

بناء التفاهم من خلال التواصل اللاعنفي — تدريب مجتمعي باللغة العربية (حزيران/ يونيو 2026) A 28-hour Nonviolent Communication (NVC) training delivered in Arabic, designed for Arabic-speaking communities in Ottawa. Led by Dr. Souleiman Kassouha (certified NVC trainer, CNVC & CICR) and Rasha Kaba (certified TPN trainer, CICR), this training combines the globally recognized NVC framework with CICR's experiential, community-centred approach to conflict resolution. Over two weekends, participants explore practical tools for empathic communication: observing without judgment, expressing feelings and needs clearly, and making requests that invite cooperation rather than resistance. The training also creates a meaningful space for participants from diverse Arabic-speaking backgrounds to come together, practise dialogue across differences, and strengthen connections within their communities. This training is for community leaders, settlement workers, educators, parents, volunteers, and anyone in Ottawa's Arabic-speaking communities who wants to communicate with more clarity and compassion in their personal, professional, and community life. Schedule: Weekend 1: Fri Jun 5 (5:30–9:00 pm) · Sat Jun 6 (9:00 am–5:00 pm) · Sun Jun 7 (1:00–4:30 pm) Weekend 2: Fri Jun 12 (5:30–9:00 pm) · Sat Jun 13 (9:00 am–5:00 pm) · Sun Jun 14 (1:00–4:30 pm) Location: Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution, 150 Isabella St, Suite 1105, Ottawa Fees: Community Rate: $799 (independent or sponsored by employer/organization) Scholarship Rate (IF ELIGIBLE): $399 (for those with financial constraints) Participants receive a CICR 28-Hour Certificate in Nonviolent Communication. التدريب يُقدَّم بالكامل باللغة العربية. يتضمن شهادة معتمدة من المعهد الكندي لحل النزاعات (28 ساعة).
