Tina Viner (Director) has a background in law and education. Tina worked in the legal field for many years before starting her own consulting business. Tina moved into the not-for-profit sector approximately 12 years ago taking a position in the Legal Division of Canadian Blood Services (CBS). During a secondment to CBS’ Centre for Innovation, Tina worked as a project coordinator on the Risk-Based Decision-Making Framework for Blood Safety project, an international initiative led by CBS. Tina has since obtained a Certificate in Project Management from Algonquin College and her PMP designation. Since graduating from CICR’s Third Party Neutral Program and 21-hour intensive CMO training, Tina has been able to employ her mediation skills at CBS assisting in-house counsel with employee relations. Describing herself as a life-long learner, Tina holds multiple degrees/diplomas in various disciplines including interior design and teaching English as a Second Language. Tina recently completed a certificate program in Workplace Investigation Training and is pursuing additional studies in conflict coaching and labour relations.
