Annette Tejada

Collaborating with CICR since 2014, Annette currently coordinates the TPN Program and delivered TPN-1 training in the Dominican Republic. She is an architect with an MBA in University Management, she is also a consultant for projects with international funds on community development and conflict resolution, and a speaker at international and national events.

Annette is a professional committed to transforming the reality of people, institutions and communities through initiatives aimed to improve the environmental, social and economic conditions for sustainable development, as it can be observed throughout her various occupations: She is a professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) in the Dominican Republic, Director of the Center for the Study, Prevention and Resolution of Conflicts (CEPREC-PUCMM), Director of the Agency for the Promotion of Development Initiatives (APID); CEO of VA Facilitations & Training, General Coordinator of Culture of Peace Program, and promoter of the 2030 UN Agenda for Sustainable Development (SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions).
