Carole has over 30 years of experience in organizational, intercultural and deep-rooted conflict management and resolution. She has worked in the private and public sector, in Canada and abroad, as lawyer, adjudicator, negotiator, mediator, facilitator and trainer. She has also held management positions in the Canadian Federal Government responsible for assessing, designing and implementing systems, programs, policies, directives, legislatives reforms and training related to conflict prevention, management and resolution.
She is a certified mediator of the Institut de médiation et d’arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ) and has been a certified mediator, in civil, commercial and labor related matters, with the Barreau du Québec, from March 2003 to April 2019. Carole is the founding president of Studio17 Médiation inc., a company offering services in mediation, facilitation, training and coaching in conflict management and resolution.
She is a former director of the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution (CICR) Board of Directors. She is now a CICR trainer and Honoured Fellow.
Carole is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
