Nicole Charron, President of Coaching Training Charron-Poggioli Inc. Teacher of TPN 2 - Developing Facilitation Skills of Groups in Conflict.
Bilingual and recipient of the 1st Woman Peace Building Award from the Campaign to establish a Canadian Department of Peace in collaboration with the Civilian Peace Service Canada, Nicole completed CICR’s program, including the seminars series, in 1998.
Honoured Fellow of CICR, Nicole started teaching TPN 2 - Developing Facilitation Skills of Groups in Conflict in 1998 as well as parts of TPN 4 – Principles, Practice and Reflections with Julie Lalonde. She also delivered in 2008, TPN 3 – Developing Mediation Skills and TPN 4 – Principles, Practice & Reflections to the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and TPN 4 in Taiwan. Nicole partnered with Esther van Gennip to develop Intentional Mediation and collaborated with CICR in partnership with Industry Canada, HRSDC and Poliquin Wakefield’s Group to develop a two week training for group Intervention practitioners.
In her 25 years in the field of Conflict Resolution, Nicole as worked in the Federal and private sectors, GNO and non profit organization across Canada and International such as Australia, Nepal, Gabon and Congo-Brazzaville. She conducted approximately 500 projects in partnerships with various associates in the area of peacebuilding, conflict resolution workshops, mediation, group interventions and coaching.
Nicole holds two Bachelors of Arts Degrees, in Psychology and Education, and has completed a Masters in Project Management. She also earned a Diploma in Group Facilitation Dynamics, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Mediation, Community Dialogue, and in Change Management. Nicole has completed her scholarship in a doctoral program in education and is accredited in the use of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Conflict Dynamic Profile from Eckhard College.
