Howie Clavier, Mediator-Trainer-Attorney. Teacher of TPN 3 – Developing Mediation Skills in both languages.
Fluently bilingual, Howie started teaching TPN 3 – Developing Mediation Skills in 2004 and also worked on conflict resolution training projects for CICR. He also specializes in construction issues including Partnering.
Howie has been in the field of conflict resolution for 19 years. During this period, Howie became the mediation trainer for the Quebec Bar and the Quebec Labour Board. He mediated for the Public Service Staff Labour Board and the Ontario Ministry of Justice, and was the negotiations trainer for the University of Sherbrooke and the Canada School of Public Service.
Howie holds a B. Architecture and B.C.L. at McGill University and is a member of the Quebec Order of Architects, The Quebec Bar, The Canadian Bar and the Institut de la mediation et le l’arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ) where he is also on the executive council.
