Esther van Gennip, C.Med. Trainer of TPN 1 – Becoming a Third Party Neutral and TPN 4 – Principles, Practice & Reflections.
Esther has extensive knowledge and experience using principles and best practices of CBCR processes and Human Identity Needs model. Esther completed CICR’s Third Party Neutral program in 1996 and started teaching TPN 1 – Becoming a Third Party Neutral in 1998 and TPN 4 – Principles, Practice & Reflections in 2002.
An Honoured Fellow of CICR, Esther has contributed in the process design, development and delivery of TPN 1 and TPN 4. She partnered with Nicole Charron to develop Intentional Mediation and collaborated with Shirley Paré for the development and delivery of Seminar One - Deep-Rooted Conflict. Esther delivered TPN 4 – Principles, Practice & Reflections in Taiwan and is our senior trainer to our program for Meno Ya Win Hospital in Sioux Lookout.
Esther has been in the field of conflict resolution for 12 years. During this period, she has served as ADR specialist and conflict resolution facilitator for a broad range of federal and provincial government departments, private sector groups, and First Nation Tribal Counsels and various Aboriginal groups.
Esther holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Canada studies: Telecommunications and First Nations, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Sociology/Anthropology. In 2008, she received her Chartered Mediator designation from the ADR Institute of Ontario. Esther is a member of the ADR Institute of Canada, the International Center for Conflict Resolution and Mediation, the Center of Conflict Resolution International, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Center and The Network: Interaction for Conflict Resolution.
