CICR puts its community-based philosophy and programming approach into practice through the structure of the organization. It is membership-based, whereby members are encouraged to participate in the life and running of the organization.
The membership consists of anyone that has completed the 160-hour program and wishes to become a member. Members elect the board of directors and have many opportunities to participate in a volunteer capacity to further deepen their understanding and skills in various aspects of this Community-Based Conflict Resolution organization. Learning events and social gatherings are held throughout the year for the CICR community.
