Managing Conflict in the Workplace

MacEwan School of Business Continuing Education, in partnership with the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution, is pleased to offer a 45 hour noncredit certificate program in resolving and managing conflict in the workplace.

If you are looking for additional skills and strategies for managing conflict, this program is for you. It will be of special interest to first line supervisors and managers who deal with their own conflicts and the conflicts of others, and who are conscious of the cost savings afforded when conflict can be dealt with timely and constructively. Taught by skilled conflict practitioners and experienced adult trainers, you will learn practical strategies applicable to all industries.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be awarded a 45 hour “Managing Conflict in the Workplace” certificate of achievement, jointly issued by Grant MacEwan University and Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution. For those interested in pursuing a career in mediation or further developing their conflict resolution skills, completion of this program will be credited as the first 40 hours of the Third Party Neutral Program (TPN 1) offered by the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution.
