CICR’s senior trainer, Vesna Markovic-Dasovic was involved in training some 160 judges, lawyers, government and business people from all parts of Macedonia in basic and advanced mediation as the first step in introducing mediation into Macedonia laws and practice. This was carried out with CIDA financing through a trust fund arrangement with the International Finance Corporation (IFC).  Based on the Association of Mediators of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) model, Vesna Markovic-Dasovic also advised on the creation of an Association of Mediators for Macedonia.
